I've not had a lot of crafty time over the last few months, but I wanted to celebrate
Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge's first birthday. I've used one of my favourite Waltzingmouse stamps and a few of my favourite techniques to create a starry sky for the birthday rocket. I love how you can choose a face to match the birthday boy!
The star stencil was a little thicker than my other masks, so allowed a much deeper layer of embossing paste. After inking with distress inks I wiped the stars to leave them a little brighter than the background and added some splatter drop planets in red, white and gold.
My main sentiment was on the inside as the rocket's countdown and the stars had taken over all of the outside! This sentiment is one of the reasons I keep coming back to the rocket stamp, time and time again.
Another look at the glitter and glossy accents added to the stars and the cute little red rocket.
