I really enjoyed my last crafting interlude, but was a little remiss at tiding up. Everything was stilled splayed over the table, so instead of clearing it all away I decided to use everything again with a little twist. While the embossing paste was still wet I sprinkled it with distress glitter and left it to dry by itself. I've chosen a blue colour scheme for a cooler and brighter look. I made sure to leave room for the WMS have a blast sentiment on the front of the card, but can you spot what I forgot to add in? Yes, the three dots to connect the numbers, hopefully Ruairí will not be too upset!
The glitter is fab in the sunlight, but a little muted on camera. I'm not sure if this is the best way to ensure the glitter stays put, as there was some rub off. Next time I might try some glittery embossing powders.

Another fabulous card! I really like the clean, crisp look on this one. Love the way you've graduated the colour on the name! Great work. Thanks so much for your continued support of Waltzingmouse Fanatics!

This is again a great card with that cute rocket! I love the colours, the background, the glitter - it's again perfect for a boy. If you haven't yet sent the card, you could perhaps still add the little missing dots by hand. But I'm sure Ruairí will love the card just as it is.
ReplyDeleteHi Gra, I love both your rocket cards, what a great stamp! They are such fun for little boys and I love the way you've added the stars - and differently on both cards! Very sweet x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Brá !!! They are just fantastic projects :) xoxo Aneta
