Teddy loves Ya!

Teddy always loves you and gives the best cuddles. I love this sweet image from Mo Manning, as I've seen lots of teddy hugs in my house. Whether my little ones were happy, tired or sad, teddy always knew exactly what to do!

Easel cards are simple and quick to create, but I think they have a large impact as they are just that little bit different. A diecut label displays the sentiment and acts as the easel stopper.  I've kept this card very simple, to let the image shine, only using diecut letters for the little girl's name and sequin stars to embellish the sentiment.

I had some lovely flower-like sequins (perfect for her hair clips), but I resisted so I could play along with ABC Challenges. I'll just have to make something else to show them off!

Engagement

I wanted a go at negative space & pink space, so I die cut a heart from the white textured card front & coloured it pink with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. A second heart was embossed with flowers & vines, coloured with distress ink, the flowers were highlighted with Star Dust Stickles and the whole heart was covered in Glossy Accents.  I love how the Stickles picks up the colour of the distress ink underneath it. More Stickles were added to the large heart & the banner sentiment. The base card was coloured pink & stamped with roses & vines.

Dust 'Em Off: This is my first time using the Disney stamps & Jak Heath Paper. I've had them in my stash for ages. I very rarely use the Congratulations stamp, but I do love all the curls- perfect for glitter!

Top Tip:
If you don't have the space or cash for all the colours of glitter glues, just buy an iridescent glitter glue. It will pick up the distress ink or Promarker/Sharpie colour underneath. The Stickles looked really pink after applied to the wet (or almost dry) distress ink and the sharpies changed my iridescent glue rainbow colours.

Birthday Bag

This is my first shaped card, a prototype! I created the template with a tent card as the starting point and an image of small rigid satin bags with dainty handles in my head. As you can see I need to work on the dainty handles. The bag had to be pink, just perfect for Jane. The gems sparkle & the edges appear less rough in person, but I think a slightly thinner card would work better next time.
