Christmas Shaker

Penny Black Wonder Collection, Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangles, Stitched Hillside Borders & Stitched Snowflakes, Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow

My first shaker card with lots of metallic sequins, hearts, snowflakes, gold glitter, distress glitter, beads and vellum snowflakes! The background is a mix of distress inks spritzed with iridescent gold glimmer mist. The Penny Black Christmas tree and sentiment is embossed with liquid platinum and the card front is embossed with pearlescent embossing paste using Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil.

Tree Top Baubles

Waltzingmouse Stamps Teeny Trees, Half Pint Heroes, Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles Lawn Cuts, Simon Says Stamp Happy Die

This is one of my favourite Waltzingmouse Stamp sets and I love using it in different way than originally intended. The baubles are created using the tree tops from the Teeny Trees stamp set. Memento Luxe inks are fantastic for their rich colour and second generation stamping, perfect for the Waltzingmouse Fanatics Colour Chalenge. However, they take a while to dry so I've clear embossed the baubles to allow me to do a little masking and not have wait too long. The bauble clasps are courtesy of bubbles from Half Pint Heroes and the strings are drawn with silver gel pen. I've used lots of silver for Virginia's View All things Metallic Challenge. Lots of stamping to join in with the Penny Black & More Challenge and the Christmas theme at Stamping Sensations Challenge.

Mirror card, glossy embossing and dull yet surprisingly bright in spots light give rise to 'fun' photography. I've tried lots of angles yet there is too much shine, not enough light or the colours are off. Hopefully you'll get the picture,  by taking all the photos as a whole!

Fusion Pattern Paper Stamping Foxes

Gorjuss Little Foxes Lawn Fawn Quinn's ABCs Simon Says Stamp Birthday Card

My local craft club has challenged us to use all the bits we've collected from each other, but not put on a card. I was admiring a friend's gorgeous use of corner stickers, when she handed me a sheet and told me to use them on a card and bring it next time.  This is my first time using stickers and I'm quite happy with the result (Not a patch on my crafty friend's card though!)

I've played along with the Fusion Challenge combining the sketch with the pinks, greys, silver and distressed look. The layer of vellum puts me in mind of the draped cloth in the picture as well. I usually use the stamp without the foxes, so when I was informed that the birthday girl is a big fan of foxes, I was delighted to colour up these furry little creatures for Stamping Senations October Challenge.
I've used two different patterned papers for the Lawnscaping Challenge and all clear stamps to join in with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Stamp a Scene

I had great fun playing with lots of Lawn Fawn stamp sets & Fluffy Stuff to create my Spring themed card for my craft club. I managed to use Cruising Through Life (prize from Papermade Bakery), Critters in the 'Burbs and Gnome Sweet Gnome (toadstool eggs & cracked tulip egg). I originally coloured my bike in a bright red that didn't work one little bit. As time was of the essence to get to my club, out with the blender an a mellower red bike emerged. Stickles, Glosssy Accents,  gel pens and my cheap non branded fringed scissors aka document shredder for a little grass. It is meant to be Spring so the grass has started growing and should be knee height, right?!

I tried to choose my promarkers to match my Lawn Fawn papers, but also used some pastely ones.
