Week 2 Summer of Creative Chemistry

Grá O'Neill - Paper Learning Curve - Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Childhood Blueprint, Lawn Fawn Cole's Stitched Rectangles, Tim Holtz Distress Stains Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Picket Fence, Ripe Persimmon, Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot

Week 2 and stamping with stains. I started out using the marbled stains technique to create the background, layering up the colours until I achieved something I thought would work. This technique has been on my to do list since I first watched the video, but I've just been brave enough to give it a go! Why did I wait?! It's so much fun!

Stage two was stamping with picket fence distress stain and then archival ink.

Stage three distress inking and colouring the piggy bank with distress markers.

Some more stain for a quick pop of colour.
